The new Big Splash @ ECP is quite a place to be. It is no longer the deserted Big Splash it used to be. Not knowing where to go, we pop by and found it abuzz with lot’s of activities.

Beside a big cemented space for inline-skaters wannabe, there are also kiddy ride for little children. We rented a tractor-like battery powered vehicle for chloee for 10 mins. It cost $4; not too sure about prices elsewhere. Luckily they din had people renting it for half-hour block. That would be too long for us.

10 mins suited us fine just because, WE WERE RIDING, not her. Why so, because she couldn’t quite grasp the concept of stepping on the paddle yet. She did managed to step on it by pulling against the steering wheel just so there is enough force on her legs. We were half bent and using our hands to step on the pedal while moving along.

Today is 小姑 birthday! Happy Birthday Xiao Gu! We celebrated her birthday at our house yesterday.

 Today 大姑 flies back to Shanghai, China to continue with her work. I will miss her. She played with me alot. We took some pictures at the airport today but with the new camera which daddy and 小姑 bought for her as a present and she had brought the camera with her. We shall get her to post some pictures next time. Here’s some picture I took with 大姑 just last week.

Here we are a IKEA newly opened Warehouse-style furniture paradise! This place is HUGE. Just the signage greeting the TPE is enough to lure in the casual drivers. What differentiate this new store from the one at Alexander is the ware-house style self-serve area. They have got spacious aisles stacked with neatly packed furniture reaching 2 storiesin height. From the picture below, you can see how huge the warehouse are. You have your usual “showroom” areas as well where their designer show you what can do with little space and that’s on the second floor. On the ground floor, you can pick up all those item you see from the showcase. The warehouse area preludes the checkout counter and there are like xx numbers of checkout counters! Go check out yourself if you haven’t done so. It’s worth a visit now that Courts has a like-wise mega-store just beside.

Chloee spotted sitting on a red POANG, and yes in case you’re wondering, she’s fresh (eh.. blurry) from sleep.

Chloee celebrated poh-poh birthday at Hans Chinatown. Here’s a montage. She’s the center of attraction!

Both Mao and I took a well-deserved (cos I said so, haha) leave on a Friday to bring Chloee shopping.. ehh.. no.. to bring “me” shopping cos I need to (hehe, more like want to) redeem my $250 voucher from Robinson before it expire. See how Chloee enjoy herself riding a wooden pony at Centerpoint Robinson…

Ah-Yee (Mao Sis) celebrated her 21st birthday and we had a birthday celebration at NTUC Downtown East. She had with her, her friends from Primary till University!

It’s daddy’s 31th birthday. My very first birthday with our darling chloee. We had an early celebration on Sunday night as mine falls on a Monday. Just me, mao and our little fella at Cafe Cartel Bishan. No queue on a Sunday night. Look at her eyes gleeing delightfully at the ribs. We extended the celebration ay my mom’s place on my actual birthday and invited granny over for dinner and some cakes. I wonder she wide-eyes for the cakes or the candle’s dancing flames.

Chloee had her 2nd HEXA injection on saturday. What a dear. All she had to show for her pain was a short burst of crying before she get’s distracted by the toys. So proud of you little chloee!

We got 2 of these kangroos sling from friends for her baby shower. Decided to test it out on a road trip to causeway point. I’m not too sure about her cos she looks really bored but I myself do not find it comfortable at all. It’s hurting on the back cos I need to keep my back straight and at the same time, have 1 hand holding her back in case she leans too much forward. This picture was taken of me taking a rest. It’s kinda tiring. I rather have her on my hands or inside her mercedes. Hey, I dun think I’ve ever posted her mercedes here, right? Let me dig it out!

Some day, I will also post one with mummy carrying her in the other type of sling. I look equally uninterested as well here. Ha! Anyway, the time it was taken was normally her nappy time so dun expect a smiley face.
